Saint John Lake – trail? any takers?

        Hello fellow high lakers, new to the forum but far from new to high lake fishing. It is my recent return back to WA from MT that has me itching for more mountain lakes.

        Was browsing the WDFW site for stock reports and am very interested in Saint John lake…for obvious gt reasons. However the only “trail” I can find is mentioned by someone who did a 7.4 mi loop off 2200-160 spur. Has anybody done this hike or know of another way into the lake?

        Looking to hike Fri or Sat and driving from Olympia (anybody is welcome to come I have extra seating!). Ever since MT the gt itch has been strong.
