Washington Trail Blazers

Formed in 1933, the Trail Blazers are a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to better alpine fishing. Trail Blazers act as volunteers for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to stock and survey mountain lakes. The club also volunteers for the Forest Service doing trail maintenance and other projects that meet the club's goals.

Goals of the Trail Blazers:

• To help make the State of Washington the pride of every sportsman and outdoor enthusiast by promoting and aiding in the conservation and propagation of game fish (especially in mountain lakes).
• To actively support the constructive forest and wildlife projects and oppose those considered detrimental; to make every effort to preserve the natural beauty of forests and primitive areas; and to comply strictly with all game laws and forest regulations and encourage others to do likewise.
• To bring together as members those persons who concur with the goals as set above and who are willing to devote the time and effort necessary to promote those goals.
• To reward its members with a congenial fellowship of sincere and spirited sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts who share their knowledge and aid each other to enjoy the fruits of their efforts.

The Trail Blazers are a registered 501c3 Public Charity, so your donations can be declared on your income taxes as a deduction. None of our members, officers, or Board members receive any pay for the hundreds of hours we spend as volunteers to assist the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife to stock mountain lakes. 100% of all donations are used to pay our operational expenses or for improving the mountain lakes environment. Your donations of any size will be sincerely appreciated.
