This lake took about seven hours to reach - a tough trip as it was all cross country and through some rough, cliff-studded country. The weather was very hot and the down covered can was used. After climbing up and down numerous cliffs and contouring across various draws, the lake was finally reached. A large part of the 500 fish were lost. After lunch and a short rest, we headed back out....
[For Kniert to admit to a “tough trip” must have practically been a killer; furthermore, I have heard people say one cannot get to Chaval from Cliff, or vice versa. ]
