Anybody camped or fished Goat Lake in the Olympics. I might go next week so any information would be appreciated.
        Thanks,
        Cliff

I day tripped it in there in the seventies, but that’s so long ago what little I could tell you probably wouldn’t apply any more. Even if I remember correctly.

Make sure you go up the right side of the creek. There’s some good fishing there.

Thanks for the replies. I did a day hike to Goat last in the Olympics on Thursday. It was a nice day for a hike and a good looking lake but no fish. I tried all my usual tricks to no avail. (Fly behind a bobber, castmaster lures, etc.) I was at the Lake for over four hours and I did not see a single fish.
The week before I was at Charlia Lakes and had Cutthroat on almost every cast. Silver Lakes the week before that with good Brookie fishing.
What kind of fish are there in Goat Lake? What is the best method to catch them?
