Has anyone seen/shot the Pack-Rifle from Logan Utah? I have been using my 12 gauge but would like to switch to something smaller and lighter, those led pellets don’t taste great 🙂

They is a company called Ruta Locura that sells a kit to convert a kid’s rifle into a pack rifle. I don’t know a lot about guns, but it might be another option to look into.

John, I’m late on this thread but I’ll chime in. I have researched this pack rifle you are wondering about and based on a couple of reviews I’ve read I don’t think I’d go for it, personally. It’s pretty neat, but I don’t care for it’s structure and look. Just a little too pen-like for me. I do like the rifles listed below, none of which come close to the reduced weight of the one you’re looking at.

The Little Badger has surprisingly good reviews on youtube, as does the Savage Rascal. The Marlin is heavier than both but a pretty neat pack rifle in it’s own. I usually spot grouse fairly close to me so I carry an ultralight .22 revolver after Sept. 1st.
