        I was wondering why they dont put bull trout in alpine lakes to control the stunted population. They eat a lot of fish and would be fun to fish for. Im sure there is a reason they haven’t done this. Because they probably would have done this by now. Does nayone know anything on this topic.

          The problem is that there is no source for bull trout fry. They can’t propagate them in the hatchery so it is tough to get eggs. It has been discussed and is something we’d really like to try if fish ever become available.

            What is the reason that Bull Trout cannot be propogated in a hatchery? Has this been tried already?
