I found one interesting service that helps with forum access from mobile devices.
From their site:
….
Tapatalk is a forum app for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Nokia. The app provides super fast forum access to any vBulletin, IPBoard, phpBB and SMF forums that have activated Tapatalk. Forum owner can download the free plug-in to activate Tapatalk in your forum.
….Not sure if this forum engine is supported by Taptalk but if it is, I’d be interested to try it out. This is, of course, if setting this plugin up is not much trouble.

That looks like it might be very nice. I’ll look into it.

I added Tapatalk support. Search for “Trail Blazers” or “Hilakers” from within the Tapatalk app on your phone or iPad.
Here’s the standard cut and paste advertisement they give you to paste in the forum:

Tapatalk supports vBulletin (3.x and 4.x) and phpBB forums and forum owner can activate this service for free. Tapatalk supports all the usual forum functions plus full screen image viewing, image upload, caching (less reload), private messaging, all these features are accessible in just a few simple taps.
