Geoff Wang was watching out for me. He informed me that the 104 acre Shoofly Fire that started a month and a half ago is still in the mop up stage. The area is closed even though the fire is over a mile away.

That means I have to cancel the trip due to “No Access”.

The lower Beaverpus comes to mind. It’s basically a wide spot in the outlet stream from the middle lake that is larger and deeper but doesn’t seem to hold fish. It can hold 2 or 3 fish.
