        is there access to this lake. on washingtonlakes.com one person says that there is no access and it is a private lake and another person says that the gates are illegally locked and the sheriff will clip the lock if u ask. I am confused about what is right so any input would be appreciated

          That’s a good question. I’ve never been there and can’t offer a definitive answer. The only person I know who has been there told me that vehicular access was not permitted and they either walked or bicycled to the lake (I’m not sure which).

          Hopefully someone with a better answer will chime in.

            I was there last Fall – drove straight to lake on old logging road (rough)
            Was told by local resident that road was planned to be dug up to stop all access. I pontooned lake for 2 plus hours with no luck – no sign of fish either. Was a good day for fishing – just no fish!
