I called the N Bend Ranger Station and they said the N Fk Rd is accessible. They were very clear that The Sunday Creek Bridge is washed out though.

Is that the brand new one that just was completed like last year??

I remember hearing rumors last year that the bridge was near completion but I don’t ever remember hearing of anyone actually using it. I was up there a couple weeks ago and the barricade was still in place with ample signage prohibiting pedestrian as well as vehicle access.

If you check lake finder and dial in Mcleod you can see pictures from the beaver dam that busted and the damage it created. Much of the lake as dissapeared.

wow, thats to bad. i saw a bear jump in mcleod lake and swam halfway across it and saw me in my raft then went the way it came. late 80s. the fish were few and small, draging a fly.
