Hi Brian,

We have never connected. It looks like you are an old school high, remote lake, Cascade mountain fishing enthusiast! I am planning a trip to Gold Lake via Fools Gold. Haven’t been to Gold for 25 years or so back when you could do it via Hardscrabble. Did it in the 90’s via Dorothy too. I want to go one more time. There was actually big rainbows (not cut throats) in there back then.

Anyhow, I found your post about going from Myrtle to Fools gold. Do you remember the route? It looks cliffy so we were planning to go via little myrtle, Moira and then Fools Gold. But if there is a route straight from Myrtle to Fools Gold that would be easier.

Anyhow, appreciate any reply. Also, curious, have you ever been to Lake Rowena? That is my favorite lake but it seems few make it there. It is a special place.
