“For now we don’t have a convenient way to store avatars. Any attachments uploaded to this board are stored in a database, not in a separate directory on the server so we can’t just set up a thread for uploading avatars. If you want an avatar you could put it on an external site. Almost every ISP gives you some free web space with your service. If you stick it up there and put the URL in your control panel you will have an avatar. “
