I catch fish weather it is raining or not, cold or hot wet or dry, I still catch the fish. You just have to know what set-up to use when fishibng different lakes.

I have limited off of spinners in a lake and had no luck at all in another, until I switched my set up. Whether it is bottom fishing, spin casting or fly/cast style fishing, once you figure it out for the lake then there is no problem. This means weather it is raining or not.

But I have caught some of my bigger fish when it is raining and/or over cast.

Okay so you call 180’s big guy, well at 275 I have a hard time packing light as everything that I have is of large size and that cannot be helped. My sleeping bag alone is 3 pounds and that is light in the xlt sizes, at 6’6″ you really have a hard time doing the light thing.

Anyone have any ideas, for the bigger person.

            Mike

The fishing was good since I caught this Brown. the weather was typical for late summer…rain and cold…we hit snow at 5000′ approximately…the climb was brutal…but well worth it…comming out was worse…Had a great time though, will probably return in the future…you would think that there is an easier way in though…I shall have to scope it out in the future…

              keep it clean

The bridge across the Suiattle River on the Milk Creek Trail is gone so getting to the Pipeline Trail up to Box mountain Lakes maybe a little difficult. But if you are adventurous I am not telling you to not go. I have been up there twice and the fishing is totally awsome. Which lakes are the best…you will have to find out for yourself.
