The super admin guy is right as usual. I'd go to Otter lake in the Foss were I you. Ive had the best luck there. Angeline has been good too.^^^^You can get to Otter via Delta.^^^^TB
“Thanks for all the input guys. ^^Bloody bathing suits? Gotta love it.^^^^When I was coming back from Edds I met two women who were laughing as they asked me, “Is this the trail to the katwalk?”^^^^Gotta love being in the outdoors and not knowing where the hell you are.^^^^TB”
Wow good points. Is there a trail up to Alaska from the Gold Creek trail that leads to Joe lake?^^^^What about burnt boot creek? Have people gone into Edds that way?^^^^^^TB^^^^[Edited on 6-24-2004 by BackPacker Joe]
“There is still NO trail either in bumblebee or over by Joes. I went out via the Joe local and there was a little trail-like path leading from the very top of the saddle to the crest, but nothing more. There is nothing from the saddle at bumblebee down to the lake. I stayed at the outlet. Very nice camp site. I used one of my Curtis rafts to get from the inlet to the outlet. I cant imagine how people got in here before the new PCT was built.^^^^TB^^^^[Edited on 6-24-2004 by BackPacker Joe]”
“This is just another SLICK way to TAX people for something they’ve ALREADY been taxed for! If the budget doesnt cover this issue, then stop building roads for the damn logging companies! FS will save MORE than enough money to cover their trail park theivery!^^^^Typical democrat tactic of double taxation!^^^^TB”
Check here for a comprehensive trip report to Square lake.^^^^http://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=955^^^^^^TB
