Which 27 lakes are going to be killed off. And what a way to spend our tax money by killing off lakes that really don’t need it.

If I ever get a chance to stock a lake, I would especially when the Goverment isn’t going to stock anymore.

Ahh, now I know the spot, I hiked in from the other side, Enjar way. You have an excellent view of the Mountain since your right beside it.

I’ve had some onf my best days fishing in the down poor. Most poeple whould rather stay home or stay at camp. You can do really well. One thing I do notice is when the weather chagnes from nice to rainy. Like today, it has been crappy weather for a while so fishing will be good but if a day or two ago the weather changed from nice to crappy, then you went out in the rain, it might not be so good. It all depends how long the weather pattern has been around.

Nice fish, just wondering if they were really that heavy though.

Nice fish, It would be stupid to give up where you caughtthe fish. Everyone and there mother would be up there. We all have out fishing holes up there, it just takes time to find them.

                              Hey,
Glad you were able to make it up there. It is a grunt though. Nice big lake. Probably a lot of fall trees over the trail.

                                Hey,
Ya it is a pretty steep fishermans trail in there. You gain a lot of elevation. When you park at the end the trail is about 200 feet before the end of the road. It goes straight up the bank. There was a lot of fallen trees when I was up there last but it is doable. At one time there use to be Browns in there because tehre were a lot of rainbows. but I have never caught anything in the lake. It is a real nice lake though. Really big so bring a raft. It is a couple of miles in and a lot of elevation.

I went to Crater last year. Been there Five times and it is what I call a hike to hell and back. One of the most beautiful trips I have ever made but a grunt. Fishing a Crater sucked lasted year. Fishing is not Like it used to be. It used to be every cast. I sugggest takeing three to four days if you go in there. If you go, go up to Boulder and hike around the lake near pear and go up the first shoot to the sattle to get over. It looks like you can’t make it but you can. It is all open from there, hope you are experienced. Only one of the lakes behing Boulder has fish. The other one doesn’t. For years it used to be frozen ver year round expect for last year. I was pretty suprised. Good campsite though.
